Gift-In-Kind Program

A gift in kind is a non-cash donation of goods or services that helps North Huron Community Food Share support local individuals and families in need. Instead of giving money, donors may provide items such as non-perishable food, hygiene products, meat, or other useful supplies that can be shared directly with clients or used to support day-to-day operations.

Local farmers can use gifts in kind to donate meat, helping ensure that families in our community have access to nutritious protein. When these donations meet Canada Revenue Agency guidelines, North Huron Community Food Share is able to issue a charitable tax receipt for the fair market value of the eligible gift in kind.

For more information about the Gift In Kind Program, contact Peter at 519-450-9818.
